About Being Super

Founded back in the year 2006 Super Team has come along way. It started with a dream, a dream of a team that’s main focus was to be the best. That dream slowly faded after the first game with the realization that the only thing super about the team was the name itself. Most of what is known of this team is rumor or legend. Their history has been passed down through the weeks, days, and hours through web blogs, and by water coolers.

Those that have spent a little bit of time with this team have discovered they have a love for the game but not much talent. Many fans have not been heard saying “magic is born when this team takes the field” and next to no one has seen this team in action or win a game.But the legend of The Super Team continues to grow.

Where some teams focus on the gentle touch of the ball or the lethal strike of a kick, they focus on making sure the nets are securely in place, that their throwup makes it off the field not on, and their halftime treats are second to none. They can trash talk with the best of them but don’t focus on backing up their talk like most teams usually do.

People ask me “Josh why do you guys play soccer you barely can run? Your team is less
than stellar? What is the point?” I say to them…. “Look at our jerseys Mother #$@#er do you honestly think Pepsi would sponsor a crap team. Get out of my sight.”

What will unfold for Super Team this season is up in the air. One can only hope to have a chance to see these amazing players orchestrate their symphonic masterpiece on the field this year. The name says it all this is a Super Team.
