Game One

Super Team vs Salt Lake Old Boys
As the sun gently blanketed the field with its golden rays a team emerged from the distance. With determination and home made jerseys their presence froze anyone near in their tracks. Salt Lake Old Boys looked on with fear and jealousy as Super Team put up the nets. Although SL Boys looked on with frightened hearts they had but a small glimmer of hope being that Super Team was down a man.
The whistle blew and the game began. Throw up and sweat filled Super Teams side. They were tired and it showed. They always show brilliance pre-game but once the game starts their true form is born. A poetry of trash talk filled the air. Names were used and half broken English was thrown at Super Team. Down 6-1 this was a battle of who could say what and use the best combos of filth and swear words. Lucky for Super Team they are all fluent in English.
Although both teams were flirting with the idea of fighting there was no blood shed. The only Red that was shown Saturday was that of a Red card and the sunburned bodies of each player. Congratulations is in order for the little man Jeremy Pahnke for scoring the first ever Super Team goal. It truly was an exciting game even with its ugly events scattered throughout.
